And Finally

When we arrived back in Miami we had most of the day to waste, as our flights did not leave until after 4. So we went on an excursion to the Everglades. It was fun to ride on the airboats, and see the alligators, and other wild life. We got quite the education on the difference between alligators and crocodiles, also what was said so terribly wrong in the first episode of CSI Miami that made our tour guide turn it off and never watch it again. :)



After the airboat tour we went to an Alligator Wrestling Demonstration. Here the guide picked someone out of the audience to wrestle his alligator. He picked me. Not quite sure why. :) But he had me going, that's for sure. Went into detail about how to hold my hands just right. Demonstrated with great detail, and showed me the "tricks". Had Ben come down and stand in "just the right spots" to get the "perfect" pictures.

In the end he brought out a smaller alligator for me to hold. It was all quite funny, and interesting.
